“ACM Designs”, Members’ Choice Award Winner

Community Futures Ontario ACM Designs as the winner of the prestigious Members’ Choice Award.

ACM Designs is a decorating and design firm for commercial, residential and cottage buildings with a focus on aging in place that was opened in 2014 by entrepreneur, Andria Cowen.

ACM Designs demonstrates excellence through their strong sense of community, using local craftspeople in every single job and consistently recommending local businesses and services. The benefits to the community range far and wide, not only through providing employment, but also providing mentoring, expertise, donated services, etc.

Background:

Each year Community Futures Ontario, a government funded program to facilitating rural economic development, recognizes the successes and impact of Community Futures Development Corporations in four categories: Entrepreneur of the Year, Innovation, Community Economic Development (CED) and the Members’ Choice. Members’ Choice combines nominees of all three categories and is voted on by our members and the communities of the nominees.
