From the Judges: 
It's a tie! 
Venture Centre and Trenval were judged as the two top CFDC websites for 2000.  The judges suggested that while the Venture Centre appears to be more innovative in design, Trenval has more useful information on the site itself.  Both sites have equivalent levels of ease-of-use functionality.  A tie-breaker criteria that might have been used was, 'Which site is more current?'  Unfortunately, neither site was dated!
