It is with great pleasure that we announce the signing of Pan Canadian Community Futures Group as a privileged partner of BDC's 2007 edition of Small Business Week® (SBW).  This year’s event will be held from October 14 to 20.

For 28 consecutive years, BDC has highlighted the contribution of entrepreneurs to the Canadian economy by celebrating their success and achievements.  During Small Business Week, different seminars, luncheons and networking activities are held all over the country and throughout BDC's network of branches.  Furthermore, in order to pay tribute to exceptional entrepreneurs – between the ages of 19 and 35, from each province and territority – BDC also holds the Young Entrepreneur Awards® (YEA).  This year's YEA ceremony will be held in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

As a priviliged partner of SBW, the Pan Canadian Community Futures Group will benefit from visibility on all promotional material related to SBW and YEA, and in all press releases issued in a national media relations campaign.  Representatives from the Pan Canadian Community Futures Group will also be invited to attend the YEA ceremony in Winnipeg to present one of the awards.  Finally, provincial/regional CFDC groups will also be able to purchase advertising (at discount rates) in BDC’s special edition of SBW Profit$ to be distributed to 175,000 entrepreneurs across the country.

BDC is pleased to have the Pan Canadian Community Futures Group as a privileged partner for this year's SBW.  This is yet another demonstration of the strengthening of our relationship and shared interest toward the development and growth of Canadian businesses.
