Harrowsmith, ON – Ryan Seeds, Chair, Frontenac Community Futures Development Corporation, is pleased to announce the launch of the organization’s newly created dynamic web-site www.frontenaccfdc.com.

The multi-faceted site will provide local businesses and organizations with a chance to promote their products and services, upcoming community events, and news - all free of charge.  The site also offers professional development training and education for community, business and entrepreneurs.  Free sampler courses include:  tourism excellence; project management; entrepreneurship; and marketing.
The site offers its visitors a wealth of information including:  business and commercial financing services offered by the Frontenac CFDC; links for business start-up, financing, market information, government contacts, and more; and exciting initiatives that are being undertaken in Frontenac County.  “We are looking forward to the launch of this website”, said Anne Prichard, Frontenac CFDC Executive Director.  “We hope that the community will benefit from using the site to promote their company, events and news, and to gather timely, relevant information to start or grow their business.  We encourage individuals to participate in e-mail notifications of upcoming events and news.”
The website has been developed by Fusix Inc., with graphic design by a Wolfe Island business, Creative Resource.
About the Frontenac Community Futures Development Corporation:  The Frontenac Community Futures Development Corporation is a non-profit organization, whose mission is to stimulate community and economic development throughout the Frontenacs.  Run by a volunteer Board of Directors and funded by Industry Canada, the Frontenac CFDC offers free advice, business training, and commercial financing to entrepreneurs and those looking to start a business in the Frontenacs.  The Frontenac CFDC also provides support to initiatives that are designed to stimulate economic development in the County of Frontenac, and business planning assistance to community organizations.
