The Advanced Farm Management Program is designed for Ontario farm business owners and managers who want to improve their management skills as well as the performance and sustainability of their business.  Five one-day sessions will be held over a four-month period in five different locations starting in November 2014.

The program will be held in:

  • Ridgetown
  • London
  • Orangeville
  • Ancaster
  • Winchester

Participants who register by September 30, 2014 will receive a $150 discount on the $1,950 tuition fee.  More information is coming soon.  In the meantime, visit www.advancedfarmmanagement.ca and www.ontariosoilcrop.org to read about last year's program and check www.takeanewapproach.ca/events regularly for updates.

Why should you attend?

"We learned a lot of this at school but you don't retain it as well as when you've gone through a few years of real life and business experience,"  said 2013-2014 participant and Cash Crop Farmer Scott Timmings.  "It's a more farm-focused course than at university and a good opportunity to review and pick up things you may have learned about but not applied very well in the past."
