Walter Gretzky received a surprise birthday present on Wednesday evening, when he was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Shining Stars Tourism Awards ceremony.  Ted Lave received the Volunteer of the Year Award and Cyril Frazer of Two Rivers Community Development Centre accepted the Corporate Partner of the Year Award.   Tourism Brantford gave out 15 awards during the program held at the Best Western Brant Park Inn.  This is the first year for the awards, which honour individuals and businesses for their achievements and contribution to the tourism industry in the community.
